IT WORKS HOLY SHIT IT WORKS I FEEL SO SMART RN WHEN IT'S LITERALLY SOMETHING SO SIMPLE IDC. I just need to reformmat aaaalll of my files which isn't alot so it's fine but i'm so happy this works and it's not completely ass i'm so happy. literally the only thing it's doing bad is it's not loading my home page automatically which i think i know how to fix but i hope it doesn't break it. anyway im super happy omg

ok well i broke my website. jk not really. well kinda. i'm trying to figure out a way to have my navigation sidebar be able to be updated from one file rather than have to be hardcoded into every page right? in laymans terms i would rather not update the sidebar code on 5 different files. well the initial template i was using wouldn't bring up the content and was blank (i think i know why this was happening but at this point i've given up on the javascript and deleted it lmao) so right now i'm trying out *iframes* which actually may be way more work than needed but it might make it easier to add new pages? so the plan was to make the navigation bar an iframe that can navigate to other pages but i realized pretty quickly it just loads the website onto the navigation bar which is ASS and makes this place UNUSABLE!! so what i'm thinking now that i have this all typed out is instead keep the hard coded navigation bar in my main html file and instead make the main content an iframe that can be manipulated by the nav bar? i think this will work out better since the main content is essentially it's own page and it lets me keep my blinkies and stamps without having to add them to each gotforsaken page.
anyway i'll be back to update. i was going to giveup tonight but i have renewed vigor. or maybe not if i don't update today/tomorrow assumed i failed and im playing roblox

sooo i impulsively decided to try using my neocities account once again after seeing someone else using neocities. ig i tried doing this two years ago since that's when neocities said this site was last updated? anyway i feel like i made a bunch of progress!! i have my home page basically done except for navigation buttons. i also added a blog page which is here and u are reading that. ngl i thought adding blinkies would be so much harder cuz i kinda gave up super fast the last time i tried developing this site but it was stupid easy. i think i gave up so fast cuz i hated the template the first time LMAO. anyway im going to bed it's almost 4 am and i have work tomorrow. i'm also adding a todo list for things i wanna add to the site so i don't forget what i need to do yk?
